My periwinkle chalkboard has been bugging me. I love the shape, the color, the distressing, but it just needed... something else; it seemed a little nondescript. I've been looking at it and looking at it since I posted it a few days ago and figured out what it needed: some glaze. Here's what it looked like before:

Not a huge difference, but just enough to help it stand out a little more. For sale is a shabby chic chalkboard that has been painted a soft periwinkle. It was then distressed and glazed to bring out the strong lines and warm palette underneath. It can be hung either vertically or horizontally. The dimensions are 27" x 21"x 1.5". $28.
