'Tis the Season Subway Art

I have several projects waiting to be worked on, but I need Mr. Five to Nine's help with all of them.  Unfortunately, he's been pretty busy at work and hasn't had time to help me, so I'm kind of at a stand still.  In the meantime, I've been drooling over these chalkboard subway prints that are popping up all over blog land.  I finally decided to take the plunge and try my hand at one.  Here's what I came up with:

For sale is a charming 8" x 10" digital print that reads, "'Tis the season to be jolly." This print can be displayed in any 8" x 10" frame and can be used to supplement Christmas decor. This high-resolution piece of artwork is offered digitally as a JPEG; no physical copy will be sent. Customers may purchase via PayPal after which the file will be emailed within 24 hours. Each digital file is $2. Email fivetoninefurnishings@yahoo.com for additional information.

(*Note: This is for personal use only and may not be reproduced commercially. Watermark will not appear on delivered file. This print can be customized to any color.)

P.S.: Need a cute frame to display your subway art?  Check out Orange Blossom Shop.

Sneak Peak

I'm starting to get cabin fever a little bit which means it's time to get painting.  I've been collecting furniture to work on, and I think I'm ready to take the plunge and get started again.  Here's a sneak peak of what I'm going to start working on:
This hutch is actually in really good shape as is.  I need to do a little bit of work to it and wipe it down and then I will just post it as is.  It has all the shelving and the light works on it.  The price will be $105.
This tall armoire is massive.  It's probably around ten feet tall, and it's quite heavy.  It needs a few layers of paint (I'm just going to keep it black), some new hardware (crystal knobs), and a light distressing and it will be ready to go.  I'm not sure on the price of this one yet.  I'll let you know soon.
This cute little butler's pantry also just needs a quick coat of paint and a moderate distressing and it will be ready.  I'm going to keep it cream.  I'm not sure on the pricing yet...

I'm hoping to get at least one of these posted before Thanksgiving, but we will see how well I juggle painting with three kids.  I also have a large old window and eight suitcases in varying colors that will be posted soon.  Check back tomorrow or Wednesday.

A Baby! & a Boutique

Sorry I've been MIA again, folks.  I have a really good excuse this time.  Baby #3 is here!  She came Halloween morning, and she is just a doll.  I could just nibble her up one bite at a time.  Anyway, I had a small complication post-delivery so my recovery is going a little slower than I'd like.  And honestly I'm just enjoying this sweet little girl.  That being said, I'm going to take off a few more days or maybe even a week or two more.  Regular posting will resume by the 17th of November at the latest, and maybe a little before then.

In the meantime, I thought I'd fill you in on a boutique a good friend of mine is doing.  Here are the details:

There are going to be over 35 vendors, and the stuff is darling.  You won't want to miss out!  Swing on over Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday for some good deals.  This would be a great place to get some Christmas shopping done.
